Chelsea grew up dancing with Dance Peninsula Ballet and PSPA where she learned from some of the finest ballet teachers and artists who inspired her deep respect and appreciation for the art form. She continued her education in dance at CSULB graduating summa cum laude with a BA in Dance Science. She is Pilates certified through BASI pilates and is a teacher at PSPA. By approaching technique from an anatomical and biomechanical perspective, she aims to help dancers prevent injuries and achieve optimal performance. Amongst the roles she has performed in the classical repertoire, the sugar plum fairy is one of her favorites, and she is delighted to be dancing it again in this year's Nutcracker.
